St Michaels Hamlet & the Cast Iron Shore
This delightful hamlet was built in 1815 by Iron founder John Cragg. This walk discovers the history of the area, from ancient monks to modern day, the original cast iron houses, the beautiful cast iron church and we unfurl the true origin of the cast iron shore.
