We have 3 practice nurses providing care and management of chronic diseases

They run a number of clinics for Diabetes, Asthma and Coronary Heart Disease, COPD.

Nurse appointments are also available for Family Planning, Smears, Holiday Vaccinations, Blood Pressure checks and Immunisation.

We also employ a Health Care Assistant who supports our nurses.

DISTRICT NURSES

The District Nurse team is managed by Jo Williams (Care Manager). They provide home nursing and advice to people in their homes as well as in the surgery. To contact the district nurses for advice or an appointment please telephone 0151 234 1083

HEALTH VISITORS

Mrs. Lisa Beckett-Quinn is the health visitor who works along side the doctors in the practice to provide a full developmental screening for the under 5's and also offer support and care for the over 65's. To contact a health visitor for advice or an appointment please telephone 0151 234 1028.

MENTAL HEALTH NURSE

Marie Walmsley specialises in mental health issues and is available to offer support and advice. Appointments are by G.P. referral only.

COMMUNITY MIDWIFE TEAM

Provides antenatal care and advice to pregnant women. Please telephone the practice for an appointment.
